Located in the foothills or the ski Resort Arcs 1800, wich is a few minutes walk away, our historic and welcoming chalet offering 3 bedrooms up to 7 guests has everything to enjoy a warm and luxurious Savoyard stay.
One of the three historic alpine chalets that existed before the ski resort of les Arcs. This is a unique place to unwind!
Before the development of the resort, there existed an area called “La Croisette” where three alpine chalets were situated. Two were semi detached (one of which is ours) and another one built a few metres away. This exclusive location was preserved and reserved for "locals" who were looking to regain a little peace and calm after their working day in the resort.
A few other chalets were then built by these permanent residents of the resort and the Croisette district thus developed around its historic location.
Some of these chalets are legendary, in particular the chalet called "Taillefer" built in the shape of an inverted diamond and located just lower down from ours.
Calm and relaxation after sport ...
Our chalet is conveniently connected to the resort of Les Arcs via the village of Charvet and you can reach it in a few minutes on foot (or by car if you prefer). You can if you want leave your skis near the departure of the ski slopes.
You will then have access to all the services of this international resort dedicated to mountain sports as well as to the coolest shops and restaurants.
Once back home, you will be safe surrounded by nature. You can then rest, breathe in and admire the fabulous Tarentaise valley in peace. Equally you could decide to relax by the fireplace or, on the contrary, recharge your batteries on the hiking trails which start from the door of the chalet.

Upstairs, you will find the main living area of 35 m2. Comprising a breakfast bar, a table for 6/7 guests, a lounge area and a magnificent stone fireplace.
Above is a 10m2 mezzanine equipped with two ultra comfortable beds from where you can enjoy the panoramic view offered by the opening of the west gable.
On the ground floor, two beautiful bright bedrooms of 12 m2 each equipped with two beds, as well as WC and shower room.
The ambience created in the chalet is cozy, simple and authentic. It is therefore furnished with carefully chosen elements and items that tell a unique and timeless story ...

Everything you could possibly need…
The chalet is fully equipped : a high-quality oven, a 4-burner hob, a large fridge, all the necessary small appliances, a dishwasher and a washing machine. You even have at your disposal the raclette or pancake party machine!
To keep you entertained, we have books, board games and games for children at your disposal. You will also have a router available with a TV and wifi of course ;).
For babies, a cot, a changing area and meal equipment are available.
Small dogs up to 15 kg are accepted; please ensure that they do not damage the interior. For other animals, please contact us.
We will provide you with two sets of keys when collecting your keys.
A rare mountain environment
You will be in the heart of nature, surrounded by larches and pines.
You have a magnificent view of the Tarentaise from every room, plus a superb view of Mont Blanc from the kitchen and the balcony.
In front of the south facade of the chalet you will have access to a flat garden (very rare!) on which you will find a wooden picnic table in summer.
The south and west facing balcony will allow you to enjoy the grandiose landscapes of the Tarentaise valley.
You can have breakfast or a romantic apero there for lasting memories.
The Arcs of course, but not only...
VISITS
To access Bourg Saint Maurice from the chalet, you can take your car (about 20 minutes in summer) or take the shuttle to Les Arcs 1600 then the funicular.
You can also easily access other valleys and visit Rosuel, Seez, Peisey for some nordic skiing the ski resorts of the Col du Petit Saint Bernard etc ...
All around the chalet, many walks await you.
Ultimately, you can easily have an « à la carte » stay in the resort and all the surrounding villages or towns.
To access the Chalet and the resort
You can access Les Arcs from the chalet in two ways: either on foot through the elevators of the buildings just above the chalet, or by car.
If you decide to go on foot, count on, for adults, about 8/10 minutes to reach the heart of the village of Charvet and about 15 minutes to arrive on the front of the ski slopes. If you have young children, allow a bit more time, depending on their age of course.
If you prefer to drive to the resort, it will be free of charge in summer and you will need to get a pass to access the open car parks or, in winter, the covered car parks. Allow about 5 minutes. If you want to book a covered parking space, do it well before your stay. Do not leave it to the last minute!
To get to Les Arcs 1800 by car, the route is well signposted from Bourg Saint Maurice. To get to the chalet from Bourg, you must turn right just before entering Les Arcs. You will see a sign "chalets de la Croisette".
If you come by train, taxis are available of course, but you can also take the funicular that takes you to Les Arcs 1600 and from there take a shuttle, get off at the stop of the building of the Croisette. From there, go through the building of the Croisette and finally through the Chardons and / or the Prainan.

In the high season, rental is by week.. In the low season if you wish to book days to suit you, please contact us.
You will be asked to pay 30% of the price to book the chalet and all the price should be payed 15 days before your arrival.
€700 for caution will be asked for and given back after your departure if there is no problem.
Prices are by week.
Cleaning and a good amount of firewood are included.
If you need more firewood, please contact us.
Payment will be done with a bank transfer.
You will get instructions as soon as we get in touch.
DURING COVID
We think that the resort will stay open. If not, we shall reimburse you. Anyway, you still can come and go for walkings, nordic skiing, have some quiet moments etc....That is what we did last year and it was a really good experience.
In that case, we will offer a special 30% off.
Please note that you will also have to pay the local taxes ( +- 2.5 euros per people).

Prices outside the winter season are € 1,060 for May, October and November, € 1,290 in June and September and € 1,690 in July and August.
If you want to book several weeks,
a reduction will be made.
