Reaching the center of the resort:

As you may see on this map, the chalets of La Croisette are located at the foot of the resort.

You can get to the center by taking the road leading to the county road — which links the resort to Bourg Saint Maurice — after which you will have to turn right. You can drive straight right afterwards if you wish to get to the car park (P4) above the neighbourhood, or you can drive on if you wish to get to the sheltered car park of Le Charvet.

You can also go there by foot. In that case, you will go through the residence looking onto the road: Le Pralan (42). The lift's entrance is located at ground-level. You can then go up to the exit storey.

After that, you will have to take the way leading to the foot of the La Croisette residence (41) (100m). Go up to the staircase most at the end of the building. Climb a few steps, which will lead you to a lift. That lift will get you to (yet another) exit storey, after which you will have to walk up the outside passageway (70m) towards the roundabout next to the car park (P4). You may find here a bus stop. You will then have to take the corridor leading to the lift of the Pierre Manta residence (30) (120m), which will get you to the upper storey, in a hall which leads you to the end of the Pierre Manta passageway. From there, you will have a bird's eye view on the valley. Walk down the passageway and you will arrive onto the lower plaza of Le Charvet (75m).

Do plan ten odd minutes on average to get there, and a bit less than 500m of distance.

You will have 300 odd meter of distance between that lower plaza to the front de piste (lower base of the slopes).

In order to make the trip without carrying your skis, you may leave your equipment at a partner's, which will offer you to hold your belongings; for free, if you rent from him, and at a very sweet price otherwise.

Tip: going through the lifts makes it possible to get to the resort with no effort. If you wish, you may go directly to the bottom of La Croisette by walking up a small path just above the chalet. We usually do that.
